Class Notes: Teena Thach, '15

Teena Thach, ’15, B.A., journalism – public relations, is gaining a following as a foodie influencer on TikTok, showcasing local mom-and-pop, Black- and Brown-owned eateries. “Racism is at its highest in America, and many BIPOC restaurants are getting shut down because of the hate or people being nervous to eat their food,” Thach told Eater Seattle last fall. “I think food brings a lot of people together and brings us all to the table and makes us feel less divided.” Find Thach’s Washington foodie tips on TikTok @Teena_Thach
